Our Leadership Team

Richard M. Batenburg Jr. - President and Founder
Richard has proven leadership capabilities in consolidating and standardizing technology infrastructure, business processes and practices, and establishing strategies to maximize profitability while reducing overall costs. His background includes successfully managing the integration and centralization of IT and service delivery organizations as part of merger activity of large, medium and small, public and private companies. He has successfully designed and implemented effective governance processes and project management methodologies. The company has doubled revenue yearly since 2007, providing business expertise to large cable MSOs and Satellite providers , including Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, Sirius Satellite Radio and DirecTV. Prior to BATMANN Consulting, he worked at TCI/ AT&T Broadband and Sun Microsystems implementing Enterprise IT OSS/BSS systems.

Richard has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and business owner/operator. Richard started his career at the world famous Comedy Works advancing to CEO of its publicly held parent company First Entertainment, which managed comedy clubs and jazz clubs, produced over 10,000 live shows operated 5 FM radio stations, a feature film production company, a talent agency and management company representing the likes of Rosanne Barr and Louie Anderson. As a TV producer, he produced video content for the Discovery Network and Travel Channel as well as dozens of long form commercials and industrial films.

 

Dick Batenburg Sr. - Managing Director Sales
Dick served 11 years as Oracle Corporation Area Vice President, Strategic Accounts in the Communication, Financial, Hi-Tech and Retail Industry. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Batenburg was Regional Vice President for Tandem Computers for 14 years and Honeywell for 16 years. Proven expert in sales process, procedure, negotiation and training Dick oversees the sales organization and acts as consultant to clients reviewing sales organizations, strategy and tactical planning.

 

 

Michael J. Batenburg - Director Business Development
Michael has over 23 years of professional executive hands on experience servicing some of America's top fortune 500 companies and providing the utmost level of professional excellence. As a 10 year employee of Pitney Bowes Dictaphone Corporation and 13 years with EMC Corporation, Michael has managed global accounts and serviced hundreds of highly respected companies including: Lockheed Martin, Federal Express, Home Shopping Network, Well Care Health Services, Citibank, Jabil Circuit, Chase Manhattan and Tech Data. He has earned the reputation of having the highest level of integrity and is known for his commitment of over delivering to his clients expectations.

In January 2006 Michael created and trademarked Bed Bugs and Beyond, the world’s first pest control consulting and brokerage service solely dedicated to mandating accountability of pest control providers, and providing brokerage of services that are 100% guaranteed to achieve successful elimination, Michaels ultimate goal is to eradicate the growing threat presented by Bed Bugs. His first 100 % bed bug elimination treatment brokerage was performed on the upper east side of Manhattan on a full structure brownstone in September 2007. To date Bed Bugs and Beyond has consulted on and brokered over 4, 000 bed bug treatment services that include: traditional pest control, K-9 scent detection, moving and relocation services and specialty pest elimination services such as fumigation and heat treatments, for suffering business and individuals nationwide that include: Abercrombie Fitch, Hollister, Nike town, Empire State Building, United Nations in NYC, Victoria's Secret, President Clintons NYC office.
